Writing Prompt #10

What are your five favorite songs at this point in time?  Why?

1:  Revelation by Third Day~~This song is one of my favorites because it talks about how you have to make a change in your life if you want to change how things are going.  It kind of goes along with Albert Einstein's definition of insanity, which is "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result."  Things are never going to change if you don't take the initiative and change them.

2:  Lullaby by Nickelback~~This is another of my favorites because it tells the listener to keep going, no matter how bad things seem to be at the time.  It's a really emotional song for me because of the video.  I'm not going to go into that here, but you can look it up on your own time. :)

3:  Make It Stop (September's Children) by Rise Against~~This song tugs at my heart when I listen to it.  The song talks about how horrible suicide is and that we need to learn to treat others as we would like to be treated and that we need to stand together.  It also talks about how people that are provoked act hastily and how we need to push past the things people say about us and become stronger and show them that we are better than they think we are.

4:  If Today Was Your Last Day by Nickelback~~This song talks about living for today and learning to forgive easily.  I love it because it's got a great message and the lyrics are so true.

5:  One Day Too Late by Skillet~~This is another song that teaches to live for the day because, plain and simply, we don't know how much time we have left and that we need to make the most of the time we have.  It also says that you need to try and change the world for the better, even if it's something small.  You never know how your actions today will impact the world tomorrow.

There are several other songs that I could have put on here, but these are a few of my favorites.  The list isn't in any particular order, but here it is!
