I would have to say I'm most proud of 2 people. I'm proud of my son first and foremost. He's a little trooper. No matter what he does, if he doesn't succeed the first time, he'll keep trying until he gets it right. Yes, he irritates me some times, but I wouldn't trade him for anything. He helps me when I'm down and he gives me strength when I need it most. He is my everything.

Writing Prompt #6
What are you most proud of?
The other person I'm proud of is my cousin. He has overcome addiction and is currently on the fast track to graduating in May. He has beaten the odds and has gotten past all the discouraging mentalities of the people that said he couldn't do it. The family, especially me, could not be more proud of him.

Writing Prompt #5
What motivates you?
My answer to this is very simple. My motivation is my son. I push myself to do better not because my mom is the type of parent that doesn't accept failure. I strive to better myself so that I may be able to give my son a great life, or as great a life as I can provide for him (with the help of his dad). I also push myself because I want to be successful and, quite frankly, I'm terrified of failure. I wasn't surprised that I was failing 2 classes at midterm because they're easy classes for me and it won't take long for me to get my grades up in them. I let myself down when I failed calculus at the end of first semester.

Writing Prompt #4
What is your personal credo (belief)?
Mine would have to be the saying, "What goes around, comes around." I believe that if you do good things, they will be returned to you. That also goes the other way. If you treat people well, they will treat you the same. If you treat them like dirt, that's how others will treat you. I guess it also goes with the Golden Rule, huh?

Writing Prompt #3
What characteristics do you value most in a friend? Explain why they are important.
To me, honesty is a must-have. If someone isn't honest, you don't know when they're being a true friend or not. Another characteristic I seek in a friend is maturity. I don't think I could be friends with someone that didn't know how to act their age. That's not to say that they can't act like a goofball once in a while, but there is a time and place for it. A mature person knows when it is acceptable to act like a kid and when to act like an adult (or as close as need be).
